U.S. NRC 5-years Enterprise Wide Contract

Engineering Mechanics Corporation of Columbus’ team has recently been awarded a 5-year U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Enterprise Wide Contract to provide “Technical Assistance in Support of NRC Nuclear Regulatory Research for Materials, Waste, and Reactor Programs” (Contract #31310020D0003). The team will support NRC’s need across areas such as:

  • Thermal Hydraulics Research Support
  • Component Integrity and Materials Performance
  • Instrumentation/Controls and Electrical Systems
  • Risk Analysis
  • Code Development and Code Support

Since its inception, Engineering Mechanics has provided expertise to the NRC conducting independent technical reviews, confirmatory analytical analysis, experimental research, and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Committee activities. The new EWC contract will provide an efficient method to continue serving the NRC.
