At Engineering Mechanics, we are pleased to congratulate our colleague Dr Mo Uddin on receiving the rank of ASME Fellow.
As outlined in the Fellow citation, Dr. Mo Uddin is a specialist in computational and experimental fracture mechanics and leak-before-break (LBB) analysis. He has contributed to ASME Code development as a member of ASME BPV Section XI Nuclear Code working group on flaw evaluation, Task Group on repair of carbon fiber reinforced polymers. He has published over 50 technical papers on a variety of topics. He has organized sessions on fracture, LBB, and non-metallic materials, and has written and presented technical papers at the annual conference of the ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping technical division.
